Simon ElliottEuropean Operations
As a project lead and trainer Simon has worked along side some of the major Drupal shops in Europe on large international projects. Native Englishman now living in France he is an active member of the French and international Drupal communities.
Simon was a key member of the Drupalcon Paris 2009 team and regularly gives presentations on a variety of drupal topics. Recently he has spoken at DrupalCamp Cologne, DrupalCamp Lyon and Drupalcamp Belgium.

Joeri PoesenAfrican Operations
Joeri is an open source advocate and trainer. In early 2010 he moved to Senegal, West-Africa to co-found Bantalabs.
Prior to moving to Africa Joeri co-organized DrupalCon Paris and directed Drupal development projects and training at AF83 Paris. In Belgium he co-founded Drupal agency Krimson, architected call center software and processes at IPGlobalnet and consulted on IT projects for Deloitte Belgium.

Anthony BelemDrupal lead developer
A native Burkinabè and free software activist Anthony Belem joins the Bantalabs Senegal team as a Drupal developer. Anthony was previously an intern at the city of Ouagadougou and a software engineer at ASECNA (Agency for Air Navigation Safety in Africa) where he was involved in Drupal related document and knowledge management projects aimed at facilitating communication between the member states.
As he's based in both Dakar and Saint-Louis Anthony's taking an active role in pushing the Senegalese Drupal community, organizing events and liaising with DakarLUG and various higher education institutions in Dakar.

Bass ThiamDrupal Site builder / Developer
Bassirou Thiam - Bass for short - joins Bantalabs as a PHP and Drupal developer. Bass holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's in Information Science / Application Development - both for the Université Gaston Berger in Saint-Louis. As a frequent organizer of free open source training sessions in his home town Bass takes the lead in growing and supporting the Drupal community in the Saint-Louis Region.

Kenneth MillenPartnerships/business development
Kenneth has a bachelors degree in Town and regional planning from the University of Dundee, he has gained extensive experience from working in the local government and housing association UK market sectors.
In his previous roles, he has been responsible for building long term client relationships with large local authorities and housing associations in a number of different fields. These include personnel, senior management and financial services.
Kenneth also has gained valuable business development skills in the field of environmental technology, he has promoted energy efficiency schemes for housing associations across the UK. He has also been involved with an early stage environmental start up whose technology is receiving considerable interest from a multinational engineering company.
His prime interest is in raising awarness of the Bantalabs social enterprise amongst the web community and building long term partnerships with developers and clients. -
Nicola MillenFinance
Nicola Millen, experienced CIMA Company Accountant, previously worked in advertising (Words Group), Public Relations (Text100) and in the gaming industry (Acclaim Entertainment, of Mortal Kombat fame). In 2001 she left the rat race of central London corporate life to settle in France, dedicate more time to her two young children and strike a balance between family life and an international IT consultancy. Nicola oversees the Financial Operations at Bantalabs Europe and Senegal, and keeps us humming along smoothly.
